Transportation And Handling Of Wheat Supplies Tender Notice

Procurement for transportation handling and delivery of wheat and flour supplies for financial year 2026-27 from designated flour mills food depots and storage points to multiple distribution stations across Azad Jammu and Kashmir including Kohala Dheerkot Ghaziabad Bagh Rawalakot Kahuta Abbaspur Hattian Bala Athmuqam Kel Sharda and associated operational locations. Tenders are invited from registered and pre-qualified contractors of the Food Department who have completed registration renewal for financial year 2026-27. Procurement shall be conducted through single stage single envelope procedure. Tender documents and detailed conditions can be obtained from the Procurement and Transportation Wing of the Food Department during office hours. Sealed tenders must be submitted at Food Department Office 151-C Satellite Town Rawalpindi by 10-06-2026 at 10:00 AM and will be opened on the same day at 11:00 AM in presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. Rates shall be quoted on per kilogram basis for all listed stations. Successful bidders shall provide performance guarantee according to prevailing government instructions before allocation of transportation work. Contract duration shall remain valid up to 30-06-2027 with possible extension until completion of allocated transportation assignments. Successful contractors shall ensure proper weighing delivery handling and transportation of food grain consignments and shall remain responsible for losses shortages loading unloading and transportation risks. Pre-bid meeting will be held on 07-06-2026 at 11:00 AM in the office of Food Department Rawalpindi. Procuring authority reserves the right to reject any or all tenders under PPRA Rules.
