Disaster Relief Food Cooked Meals And Supplies Tender Notice
Description
Prequalification of firms and vendors for procurement and supply of disaster, flood and monsoon relief items including Food Hampers containing sugar, dal channa, washed dal mong, dal masoor, rice, roasted channa, mixed pickle, ghee, iodized salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, dry milk, tea, atta, drinking water and specified packing materials with laboratory testing requirements for mycotoxin, fungus, visual inspection, weight verification and shelf life compliance. Procurement also includes cooked food with crockery and transportation at relief camps comprising chicken curry daigs, rice with chicken daigs, rice with chana daigs, vegetable salan daigs, dal chana daigs, dal masoor daigs and roti supply. Non-food items include charpai cots, mosquito nets, plastic mats, mattresses, animal fodder and matchboxes. Bidders must be registered with FBR, Income Tax, General Sales Tax, Punjab Sales Tax and EPADS. Bids shall be submitted through EPADS while original bid security CDR and affidavits must be submitted physically before the closing time. Procurement shall follow a single stage two envelope procedure. Bid security is 3% of the estimated procurement cost of PKR 10,000,000 and successful bidders shall furnish a performance guarantee of 2% of the contract amount. Delivery of relief items and cooked food to flood relief camps is the responsibility of the vendor.
