Procurement Of Furnace Bricks And Refractory Lining Materials Tender Notice
Description
Procure furnace bricks, Alsi blocks, wet refractory lining and dry refractory lining. Procurement shall be conducted under Single Stage-Two Envelope procedure through international competitive bidding. Bids submitted by email or fax are not acceptable and must be submitted on the firm's original letterhead through surface mail or courier. Delivery terms are CPT Islamabad or CFR Karachi for international suppliers. Indigenous suppliers may offer Free Delivery at Wah Brass Mill, Wah Cantt in PKR. Tender fee of Rs. 2,500 in the form of a non-refundable pay order shall accompany the technical bid for indigenous suppliers. Bid security of Rs. 250,000 in the form of a pay order from a scheduled bank is mandatory. Performance guarantee shall be submitted as specified in clause 5 of the tender document, while successful bidders shall furnish a performance bond equal to 10% of the contract value after issuance of the Letter of Acceptance. Payment for international suppliers shall be through Letter of Credit on a 90%-10% basis, whereas indigenous suppliers shall receive 100% payment after receipt and acceptance of the stores. Financial bids will be opened at 11:30 AM.
