Description

Auction for separate commercial service contracts including refreshment kiosk - traditional food outlet serving rice, biryani, tea, bread, curry and karahi - cold drink corner offering juice, milk shakes, smoothies, soda, soft drinks, ice cream, slush, tea and coffee - Chinese grill for Chinese and barbecue items - parking stand - and general store. Bids shall be submitted under the Single Stage Single Envelope procedure in sealed envelopes. Applications must be submitted on the prescribed form. Bid securities are mandatory in the form of CDR in the name of Treasurer Thal University Bhakkar as follows: PKR 35,000 for Cold Corner, PKR 30,000 for Chinese Grill, PKR 40,000 for Parking Stand and PKR 10,000 each for General Store and Desi Dhaba. The respective annual reserve prices are PKR 650,000, PKR 500,000, PKR 750,000 and PKR 100,000 where specified in the notice. Food contractors must possess a valid Punjab Food Authority licence and applicants must have an active NTN registration. Successful contractors shall deposit applicable government taxes including sales tax and advance tax. Buildings, furniture and required infrastructure shall be constructed or provided by the contractor according to the approved university design where applicable. Bid opening will be held at 02:00 PM after submission closes at 12:00 PM. Contract duration shall remain valid until 2027-06-30 with the possibility of annual extension for up to two additional years subject to satisfactory performance and a minimum annual increase of 10 percent.
