Supply Of Food Items For Prison Inmates Tender Notice
Description
Procurement and supply of food items and edible commodities for prisoners and detainees of District Jail Astore during financial year 2026-27. The list of required food items can be obtained from the office of the Superintendent Jail Astore during office hours. LPG gas shall be supplied and paid according to the prevailing rates approved by the Price Control Committee Astore. Interested contractors shall submit sealed bids within 15 days of publication of the advertisement. Tender documents require a bid security of PKR 100,000 in the form of Call Deposit from a scheduled bank of Pakistan in the name of Superintendent Jail Astore. Tender fee is PKR 4,000 non-refundable. Bids will be opened on 2026-06-20 at 11:00 AM in the presence of bidders. Only government registered contractors and firms are eligible to participate. Rates for all food items must be quoted on per kilogram basis. Conditional ambiguous or incomplete bids shall be rejected. The successful contractor shall be responsible for timely delivery of quality food items inside the jail premises and replacement of substandard items at own cost. In case of delayed payments due to shortage of funds the contractor shall continue supplies without interruption. Failure to ensure regular and timely supply may result in forfeiture of security amount of PKR 100,000.
