Local Purchase Of Medicines For Defence Employees Tender Notice
Description
Local purchase of medicines and surgical items for employees of the Ministry of Defence. Electronic bids are invited from pharmaceutical firms, medical stores, distributors and suppliers possessing valid drug sale or distribution licenses and registered with relevant authorities. Procurement shall be conducted through Open Competitive Bidding under Single Stage One Envelope Procedure using EPADS V2.0. Estimated cost is PKR 60 million and earnest money is PKR 1,200,000. Bidders must be active taxpayers and have at least three years experience supplying medicines to government, armed forces, hospitals or reputable organizations. Selection shall be based on least cost methodology through maximum uniform percentage discount on prevailing retail prices. Bids must be submitted electronically and opened at 11:30 AM on the same day.
